HABITUS comprises socially ingrained habits, skills and dispositions. It is the way that individuals perceive the social world around them and react to it. These dispositions are usually shared by people with similar backgrounds. The habitus is acquired through imitation-mimesis and is the reality in which individuals are socialized, which includes their individual experience and opportunities. Thus, the habitus represents the way group culture and personal history shape the body and the mind; as a result, it shapes present social actions of an individual.
HBTS Showcase is a party that promotes the best of local electronic music. Local young talents and more experienced DJs, who create different and wild combinations of sound, will perform at Štab Pogon. We continue to create multimedia experiences with fantastic group of local young artists.
LOCAL REALITIES PA/JERUSALEM
LOCAL REALITIES is a yearly exhibition of photographs that shows realities of people in different contexts, different habitats. Physical and spatial context is shown through the eyes of outsider visitor that capture the essence of local architecture, cultural street life and atmosphere. Exhibiting those moments in our local context, the connection between here and there creates relationship of habitats.
IKOTOWN X HABITUS
Working on a typewriter helps her to gradually build space using letters, words and signs, and this type of work is a meditative process for her. Inspired by urban landscapes, through her work she explores the structure of space and the symbolism of home, as well as the relationship between architecture and man.
MILICA KRSTIĆ X HABITUS
Interactive art installation. Abstract pieces of strange, alien forms for you to explore in the darkness of Štab Pogon. With the endless search for meaning in this unpredictable reality, Milica deals with the moment, the part of eternity in which we float and only exist.
